Who am I?
We’re never too old to wonder. We’re never too old to wander.
Wander
I call myself an adventurer because I have a curiosity that can’t be quenched. It permeates every aspect of my being. From hiking up mountains in rural southwest Virginia on the weekends to checking out every book on calligraphy the library has to offer, I love to learn, explore, and grow every day.
I live life by a personal motto: be not static.
Create
My first [recognizable] drawing ever was a stick figure cat when I was three years old. By elementary school, I had moved up to painting monkeys and trees. In middle school, two teachers helped me discover my passion for art and creating. The rest is history.
Creating to me is less about the product than the reaction. A poster that promotes thought, a ceramic mug that makes a smile, and a painting that produces wonder possess far more value than the creation itself. This is why I continue to create.
Wonder
Idealist. Optimist. Dreamer.
Mover. Shaker. Change-maker.
The ability to dream and see what could be exists at the core of my character. It’s why my passions are strong and my dedication is deep.
The future of the world hinges on our ability and willingness to stop at nothing.
